Our company is seeking a highly skilled bookkeeper to support our finance and operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, accounting standards, and taxation rules.

This role requires excellent English communication skills and the ability to work closely with our leadership team to ensure our financial records are accurate, up to date, and compliant.

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
  • Process payroll and superannuation contributions (if required).
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
  • Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).
  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
  • Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal). Clear, professional, and confident communicator.
  • Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Mindset: Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Australian businesses.
  • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting.
