Job Summary:

This role entails overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of general ledger management and adherence to accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing and presenting financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and developing budgeting processes across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of accounts payable/receivable and payroll compliance
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Cash flow and investment monitoring for optimal financial health
  • Budgeting process development across departments

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Adherence to GAAP and local tax regulations
  • Timely GST returns filing and handling audits, assessments, and notices
  • Compliance with income tax regulations, transfer pricing, and Ministry of Corporate Affairs requirements
  • Maintenance of accurate records for FEMA-related transactions and coordination of internal and external audits
  • Implementation and monitoring of internal controls for asset protection

Strategic Support:

  • Data-driven financial insights for strategic decision-making
  • Collaboration with senior management on financial planning and risk management strategies
  • Financial performance evaluation through comparison with plans and forecasts

Team Leadership:

  • Supervision and mentorship of accounting staff for growth and development
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
  • Staff training on financial systems and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred but not mandatory
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in financial management and accounting
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills essential
