About this Role

This is a senior accounting position that involves managing the day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial statements, handling payroll, budgeting, and financial forecasting. The role requires ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, performing audits, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting operations, including cash flow management, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Handle payroll processing, benefits administration, and other related HR tasks.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and analyze financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax laws, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
  • Perform audits and reviews of financial transactions, accounts, and records.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor relationships, payment terms, and invoicing processes.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions, including cost-benefit analysis, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and break-even analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations, and ensure the organization is compliant.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
  • Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA or CMA.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including accounting packages, spreadsheets, and databases.
