Job Summary:

  • Lead the incident response process for groups of end-users to minimize business impact and ensure service restoration as soon as possible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve moderately complex to complex incidents, including significant events and management communications.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to technical support employees involved in the incident.
  • Document incident details according to exit criteria for Problem Management.
  • Communicate incident status to various levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills with organizational presence, authority, and responsibility to prioritize, track, and drive execution in stressful, high-visibility situations.
  • Possess working knowledge of infrastructure components and interrelationships associated with WAN, network access and authentication, email, and other collaboration products/SaaS solutions, hosting, etc.

Required Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, collaboration, and effective communication with all audience levels verbally or in writing.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, track, and drive execution in stressful, high-visibility situations.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure components and interrelationships associated with WAN, network access and authentication, email, and other collaboration products/SaaS solutions, hosting, etc.
