Job Role: Data Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance database systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and experience with T-SQL development.

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient database systems (tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers).
  • Optimize complex queries, indexes, and execution plans for high performance.
  • Support cross-platform integration with Oracle databases.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS; Oracle ETL skills are an asset.
  • Implement and monitor database security, backup, recovery, and high availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, blocking/deadlocks, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with application developers to design normalized and scalable data structures.
  • Support database upgrades, migrations, and integrations between SQL Server and Oracle.
