Role
  • Credit Risk Analyst/Underwriter, Team Lead

The successful candidate will lead our credit analyst team in India that underwrites deals for the US market.

We seek candidates with strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the credit analyst team to ensure quality of credit analysis, train and mentor team members.
  2. Oversee daily underwriting pipeline and queues to ensure timely movement, balanced workloads, and efficient resource allocation.
  3. Support and mentor underwriters by providing day-to-day guidance, fostering development, and monitoring team performance.
  4. Ensure underwriting decisions meet agency, investor, and company guidelines while supporting risk management and quality control initiatives.
Requirements
  • PG/Master's degree from a premier college with a specialization in finance, economics or a related field.
  • Additional financial qualification such as US CFA Level 2+ or FRM Level 2.
  • Experience in credit analysis, especially in the real estate industry. Exposure to the US market will be an advantage.
