Data Engineering Role

Seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on cloud platforms.

This is an opportunity to work extensively with BigQuery for data modeling, query optimization, and large-scale data processing. Additionally, the successful candidate will build and manage data integration workflows using Python and automation scripts.

Key responsibilities include writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for analytics, reporting, and data transformations. The role also involves managing and maintaining structured and unstructured data in PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.

As a Data Engineer, you will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across multiple systems. Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver reliable data solutions is crucial to success.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  2. Work extensively with BigQuery for data modeling, query optimization, and large-scale data processing.
  3. Build and manage data integration workflows using Python and automation scripts.
  4. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics, reporting, and data transformations.
  5. Manage and maintain structured and unstructured data in PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
  6. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across multiple systems.
  7. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.


Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong expertise in cloud platform services.
  2. Hands-on experience with BigQuery (data modeling, partitioning, performance tuning).
  3. Proficiency in Python for data engineering, automation, and scripting.
  4. Strong knowledge of SQL with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
  5. Experience working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
  6. Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL pipelines, and real-time/streaming data solutions.
  7. Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tools.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
