Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

As a skilled financial professional, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing all aspects of FX settlement operations. This includes coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the administration of bank operating accounts, including access to electronic banking controls.
  • Process manual FX TSF payments and obtain approval from authorized signatories.
  • Provide data to banks for working capital facilities and coordinate relevant documentation.
  • Perform FX Confirmation reconciliation and collaborate with counterparty banks in case of discrepancies.
  • Collect and analyze data from various teams to inform credit ratings decisions.
  • Negotiate with banks to secure optimal interest rates for surplus deposits.
  • Coordinate the issuance and closure of bank guarantees, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Closure of IDPMS and EDPMS in bank databases to avoid penalties.
  • Supply underlying documents for imports and exports, as well as manage confirmed FX deals and discrepancies.
  • Report cash positions to senior management and file foreign asset and liability returns with the Central Bank.
  • Arrange funds from banks in case of shortfalls and submit regulatory documents annexures.
  • Calculate MTM on Hedges Derivatives and monitor bank limits.
  • Collaborate between teams, resolving issues and handling auditor queries.
  • Prepare debt forecasts, variance analyses, and indebtedness reports, as well as liaison with senior management.
  • Participate in KYC processes, handle month-end and quarter-end processes, and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Address exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and act proactively to prevent future issues.

  • Strong understanding of FX settlement operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant software applications.
