We are seeking a seasoned Accounting professional to join our team. As an Accounting Controller/Manager, you will play a key role in managing the accounting functions of our organization.

The Ideal Candidate:

A qualified or semi-qualified CA with completed article ship training, hands-on experience in every stage of accounting, financial, and management reporting, month-end and year-end closing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic Micros and advanced tools of Excel is required.

A strong knowledge of Canadian accounting & tax laws, Canadian GAAP, IFRS is considered an added advantage but not mandatory.

Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) and other management report analytical tools would be an added exceptional qualification.

The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, a problem solver, meeting deadlines, and have experienced skills in the following accounting software: Quick Books Online, Quick Books Desktop, Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Dynamics, as well as Canadian Payroll Software: Quick Book, Ceridian, Wage Point.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of accounting including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounts.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
