Fund Accounting Leader

As a senior expert in our Fund Accounting department, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs) and performing various types of reconciliations between clients' general ledger data and market data providers.

This role is a great blend of product knowledge and technology usage.

  • We are looking for an experienced individual to manage open-ended and closed-end hedge funds with reconciliation and integration of trades for the clients.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for accounting and booking corporate actions trades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading Open/Close ended Hedge funds with reconciliation and integration of trades for the clients.
  • Accounting/Booking of corporate actions trades.
  • Daily/weekly/Monthly GAV/NAV preparation which includes:
  • Booking of Capital Activities
  • Market Value Reconciliation.
  • Computation of Profit and Loss for Financial instrument
  • Expense Accounting
  • Dividend Accrual Reconciliation,
  • Bond Coupon Accrual Reconciliation,
  • Confirming Trial Balance ledgers tie-up with various sub-ledgers
  • In-depth understanding of preparing and review of Financial Statement (US GAAP, IFRS)

We seek a highly skilled and experienced professional with strong technical skills and excellent communication skills to lead our team as a Fund Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate should have a Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience in financial markets and products.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience
  • In-depth understanding of preparing and review of Financial Statement (US GAAP, IFRS)
  • Good understanding on financial / Capital Markets products of Equity, Bonds, Future, Option, FX forwards
  • Hands on in working with MS excel and formulas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Certification course of Financial Market / Products
  • Experience with general ledger accounting software
  • Experience of Mutual Funds Accounting / Audit.
