Procurement Specialist for Railway Signalling Projects

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Procurement Specialist for Railway Signalling Projects. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the procurement process for our ongoing and upcoming railway projects in the Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) domain.

About the Role:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic procurement plans to ensure cost, quality, and timely delivery across multiple railway projects. You will work closely with our supply chain team to structure procurement deals and ensure cash flow alignment.

You will also be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with suppliers. Your exceptional negotiation skills and ability to secure favourable commercial terms will be key to your success in this role.

Additionally, you will have a deep understanding of procurement regulations, railway project specifications, and RDSO/Railway Board guidelines. Your analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve project goals

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with significant exposure to Railway Construction projects
  • Proven experience in working with SAP systems for procurement planning and monitoring
  • Strong network and knowledge of vendors, OEMs, and suppliers in the S&T industry
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to secure favourable commercial terms
  • Deep understanding of procurement regulations, railway project specifications, and RDSO/Railway Board guidelines
