Job Summary

This role involves leading the design and development of decentralized systems that scale globally. We seek an experienced Backend + Smart Contract Developer with a strong grasp of blockchain architecture and mid-level AWS expertise.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing high-performance backend systems and scalable blockchain architectures, as well as building and maintaining APIs, node integrations, and indexing services. They should also be proficient in deploying and managing backend services using AWS and cloud best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Smart Contract Development:
    • Architect, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts for Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, and other L1/L2 networks.
    • Conduct in-depth testing, auditing, and gas optimization.
  • Backend Engineering & Blockchain Architecture:
    • Design and implement high-performance backend systems and scalable blockchain architectures.
    • Build and maintain APIs, node integrations, and indexing services.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS):
    • Deploy and manage backend services using AWS.
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and monitoring solutions.
  • Security & Optimization:
    • Ensure system security and resilience.
    • Apply best practices for mitigating vulnerabilities.
Requirements
  • 4+ years in backend development and 2+ years in smart contract development.
  • Deep understanding of Ethereum, EVM architecture, L2 scaling solutions, and DeFi/NFT standards.
  • Proficiency in Solidity, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and at least one systems language.
  • Strong experience in blockchain solution architecture for scalable dApps.
  • Mid-level experience with AWS.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, Web3.js / Ethers.js.
  • AWS DevOps experience for blockchain-based apps.
  • Cross-chain development and interoperability protocol expertise.
  • Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs.
  • Experience with audited DeFi protocols.
  • Familiarity with L2 rollups and advanced blockchain scaling techniques.

We are open to hiring a remote or hybrid candidate. This is a full-time position.
