Systems Architect

We are looking for a Systems Architect who will collaborate closely with product and software architects, as well as development teams, to design and build systems that are shipped as solutions addressing real-world customer problems.

The Emerging Products Group focuses on products and solutions in Connectivity, Edge, AI, and Gen AI. These are supported by several platforms and services developed in partnership with Bell Labs. As we continue to productize these offerings, the Systems Architect will play a key role in driving the architectural initiatives within our group.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can guide the technical direction of these emerging products and ensure they are aligned with both customer needs and future technology trends.
- **System Design & Architecture**: Define scalable system architectures for Connectivity, Edge, AI, and Gen AI solutions.
- **Collaboration**: Work with product and software architects, and development teams to ensure cohesive system delivery.
- **Technical Leadership**: Lead architectural decisions, providing guidance on best practices and technical trade-offs.
- **Productization**: Drive the productization of emerging technologies, ensuring scalability and customer readiness.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Translate business needs into technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders on product strategy.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate architectural risks to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
- **System Architecture**: Expertise in designing scalable systems for Connectivity, Edge, AI, and Gen AI solutions.
- **Programming Languages**: Java, Python or Go.
- **Cloud & Edge Computing**: Public cloud or edge technologies.
- **Networking**: Knowledge of networking protocols and connectivity solutions (Wi-Fi, cellular, etc.).
- **Microservices**: Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- **Security**: Understanding of security standards and practices.
- **DevOps**: Experience with CI/CD, automation tools, and DevOps practices.
- **System Integration**: Ability to integrate third-party platforms and APIs.
- **Leadership & Communication**: Strong communication and leadership skills
- **Experience**: 12+ years
