About Our Team

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in software development for consumer electronic devices.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in C/C++, multimedia frameworks, and a solid understanding of Linux systems.

Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software components for embedded multimedia systems. This involves participating in system architecture, component design, prototyping, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and debugging applications using C, C++ (C++11/14/17), and JavaScript.
  • Implementing multi-threaded and asynchronous applications.
  • Integrating adaptive media streaming clients and managing playback using GStreamer, FFmpeg, and related frameworks.
  • Developing and troubleshooting Linux-based applications, services, and daemons.
  • Cross-compiling and managing builds using CMake, Make, or Meson.
  • Analyzing system logs, core dumps, and IPC/message queues for issue resolution.
  • Debugging and optimizing Linux shared libraries, services, and low-level interfaces.
  • Integrating DRM systems such as PlayReady 4.x and delivering content using Apple AirPlay.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating complex ideas.
  • Conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and ensuring software quality with testing frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong proficiency in C, C++ (C++11/14/17) and object-oriented design (OOAD).
  • Experience with Linux internals, process management, permissions, memory, and IPC.
  • Experience with Boost ASIO, socket programming, and Linux Familiarity with multimedia frameworks like GStreamer, FFmpeg, and display systems like Wayland or DirectFB.
  • Hands-on experience with cross-compilation and CMake build systems.
