About this role
We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on the leading edge of our Open Source Software program, contributing to library design and development.
- Develop technical designs for the DCP Team
- Participate in product development and roadmap exercises
- Interact with customers through GitHub, responding to issues and reviewing pull requests
- Participate in software design and code review for all libraries that the team creates
- Implement holistic testing strategies to assert a good developer experience
Requirements:
- 8 years working as an application developer with production code deployment experience
- Intermediate knowledge of the OpenAPI Spec v3 and/or Swagger
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with API design and development, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Java and Go programming languages
- Experience with unit and end-to-end testing
- Experience working with a product-oriented, agile culture
- Active involvement with CI/CD concerns, hands-on experience with tools such as CircleCI, Travis, and Jenkins
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with other languages, such as Java, .NET, Node, or Python
- Experience interacting with other developers on GitHub
- Experience building libraries or tools depended on by other developers
