Main Responsibilities:

  • Building and scaling backend services using Node.js, Express.js and NestJS technologies.

  • Designing and implementing maintainable and reliable backend architectures.

  • Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for efficient communication between frontend and backend.

  • Designing and optimizing schemas for relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis or DynamoDB.

  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in APIs, queries and backend logic.

  • Writing clean, testable and maintainable code.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers, designers, product managers, QA and DevOps to ship features.
