Governance Manager

Delivering exceptional governance excellence requires a strategic thinker who can drive organisational improvement initiatives and foster positive working relationships with teams and clients. As a Governance Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development, implementation and monitoring of governance policies and processes across the organisation.

This role focuses on ensuring adherence to organisational standards while fostering continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in collecting and publishing organisation-level metrics, supporting internal audits, and ensuring robust governance aligned with the product development lifecycle (PDLC).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Product Lifecycle Governance: Strong understanding of product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance principles and best practices.
  • PDL Knowledge: Familiarity with the basics of the Product Development Lifecycle, including stages, deliverables and governance checkpoints.
  • Process Development and Optimisation: Proven ability to document and implement policies and processes that drive organisational efficiency.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting, analysing and interpreting data to produce meaningful metrics and reports.
  • Compliance and Standards Expertise: Knowledge of PDLC governance frameworks with experience ensuring adherence to these standards.
  • Audit Support: Experience assisting with internal audits and addressing findings.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders and present governance-related insights.
