We are seeking a highly skilled Backup Specialist to assume key responsibilities in ensuring the smooth operation of our backup and recovery systems. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with industry-leading technology and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot all types of backup/restore failures, performance-related issues, aux copy, and replication operations.
  • Develop and implement different types of policies like storage policy, schedule, retention, archive, and cleanup for backup jobs.
  • Maintain the integrity of Commvault, Media Agent, and Client servers through patching and regular maintenance.
  • Configure and schedule backup for NetApp NAS share NFS & CIFS.
  • Monitor Commvault license and prepare weekly and monthly reports for data analysis.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in backup administration.
  • Prior experience with Commvault V11 in both Java GUI/Admin console is essential.
  • Familiarity with Commvault File system/module-based (Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Sybase, VMWare, File Agent) is required.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills are necessary.
  • Working knowledge of Data Domain and Tape libraries is beneficial.
  • VMWare and NetApp expertise is desired.
