Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving the organization's information security posture, reducing the risk of cyber attacks on critical infrastructure and operations.

They will work towards building trust with stakeholders and ensuring the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements to avoid penalties.

Cyber attacks can damage the organization's reputation and data can be misused against it. Making the organization cyber resilient is a key objective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Strategy and Policy: Develop, implement, and maintain OT security policies, standards, and procedures to protect critical assets and operations.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments of OT systems and networks, identify vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security controls and countermeasures.
  • Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor OT systems for security threats and incidents, respond to security breaches, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443) and conduct regular security audits.
  • Incident Management: Manage and respond to security incidents effectively.
  • Training and Awareness: Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a strong security culture.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with OT security vendors and ensure that their products and services meet security requirements.
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of experience in OT security management, with a strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience assessing against standards and frameworks including one or more of the following: IEC-62243/ISA-99, NIST CSF, NERC CIP, etc.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, GICSP, GRID, GCIP, etc.).
