Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure.

This includes EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases and Lambda functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases and Lambda functions.
  • Assist in designing, implementing and maintaining backup, high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration and maintenance of cloud and on-prem resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms to ensure user productivity.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
