This is a long-term contract position with one of the leading technology organizations.

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team and contribute to all aspects of software development from architecture to design to estimation to development to testing and release.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of production-level Java development experience, hands-on experience with Java Development and good problem-solving skills, and experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS (or other cloud providers).

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • A strong background in Java Development and cloud computing.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring-Boot Framework and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience building scalable systems and services in the cloud.
  • Skill and experience in using design patterns and developing, debugging and building automated tests for multiple programming assignments.
  • Ability to partner with product owners, software architects and other software engineers to turn high-level requirements into product enhancements.
  • Contribution to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness of the team.
  • Monitoring large-scale production applications and having experience with deployment and infrastructure design and maintenance.
