Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

Sr. Cloud Engineer Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, build, and maintain our AWS Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Designing and building scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Redshift, ECS, Route 53, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Cost Explorer, and others.
  • Setting up ECS/EKS clusters, configuring deployments, and implementing performance-based scaling using Docker images, Docker Hub, AMIs, etc.
  • Automating infrastructure setup using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Implementing new environments based on specific landing page requirements and industry best practices.
  • Managing user access to intranet systems and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Configuring network configurations using VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Route 53, WAF, etc.
  • Developing DevOps and CI/CD processes using Bitbucket/GitHub for pipeline creation and familiar with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Optimizing costs and resources using Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, and tagging for granular cost insights.
  • Maintaining AMI upgrades, patch application, and maintenance window management.
  • Monitoring AWS environments using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and others.
  • Understanding cloud architecture best practices and security guidelines.
  • Documenting SOPs, creating knowledge bases, and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Collaborating effectively as a proactive and supportive team player.
