Academic Professional in STEM Education

The position involves working as an academic professional in STEM education to conduct high-quality workshops and courses for teachers. This role is centered around developing pedagogical and adult learning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare capacity building program plans in STEM and provide inputs for the preparation of the academic calendar.
  • Coordinate with other subject teams for planning and executing the STEM programs.
  • Analyse the feedback on the training programs received from the teachers and other training participants.
  • Provide direction for the STEM program in alignment with current educational policies and guidelines.
  • Develop detailed program frameworks, teaching plans, and workshop modules based on relevant national and international reference material.
  • Regularly update resources on the basis of conducted action research or primary/secondary research.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.
  • M.Sc. (Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry), B.Ed or an equivalent degree.
