Job Title: Calypso Test Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our Collateral Technology Team as a Calypso Test Engineer. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality IT and business initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for automating testing on our Calypso platform, ensuring all quality assurance activities are completed accurately and efficiently. This includes designing and writing test automation scripts, implementing test automation strategies and best practices, and collaborating with engineers to investigate test failures.

To succeed in this role, you will require significant experience in software testing, preferably in a techno-functional capacity, with a strong understanding of the Calypso platform and its associated technologies. You should also possess excellent interpersonal skills, be proactive and motivated, and have a strong problem-solving ability.

As a Calypso Test Engineer, you will work closely with our development and product teams, as well as key stakeholders from Collateral Operations, Risk, Finance, and Front Office. You will also contribute to our continuous improvement culture and participate in various projects to drive innovation and growth.



Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in test automation using Calypso and CATT (Calypso Automated Testing Tool)
  • Knowledge of different phases of testing, such as SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, and Load
  • Understanding of test management tools, including JIRA/Zephyr
  • Ability to work with engineers to investigate test failures beneficial
  • Knowledge in a programming language, such as Java/Python, an advantage
  • Database and SQL skills to write and execute queries
  • Ability to manage various stakeholders' expectations
