Freight Car Manufacturing Specialist

- Coordinate production operations to meet business objectives.
- Develop and implement resource allocation strategies for manpower, machinery, materials, and finances.
- Monitor and adjust production progress to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and tests to guarantee products meet industry standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 3-15 years of experience in freight car manufacturing.
- Proficiency in computer software programs (Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
- Familiarity with production processes and procedures (welding, assembly, testing).
