Senior Manufacturing Technology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Technology Specialist to lead transformative manufacturing technology projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.

  • You will architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Your expertise in OT systems, PLC, SCADA, MES, and enterprise IT systems will enable seamless integration and ensure high availability and performance of industrial databases and historian timeseries databases.
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, you will align system capabilities with production and business needs, providing technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in SCADA/MES engineering within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA and Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency in database technologies, such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with OT/IT integration technologies, REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with largescale digital transformation/Industry 4.0 projects and cloud-based IIoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT). Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Certifications in Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications.
