
Compliance and Governance Specialist

Job Summary:
">The primary role of a Compliance and Governance Specialist involves handling administrative matters related to client companies, fostering and developing relationships with clients, and overseeing client teams to ensure adherence to legal and financial standards.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Legal Document Preparation: Prepare a range of corporate documents including directors' and members' resolutions, powers of attorney, principal indemnity letters, register of members and directors, shares and participation certificates, service agreements, certificates of incumbency, incorporation, liquidation, and other types of legal documents.">
- Incorporation and Termination Processes: Actively participate in the incorporation and termination processes of companies within the Prospect and Termination Workflow.">
- Client Fee Quotations: Provide fee quotations for services to be provided to clients to the respective Relationship Manager (RM) and charge these fees accordingly in Maconomy.">
- Productivity Monitoring: Monitor productivity and chargeability on a weekly basis and review productivity and performance against targets to ensure individual financial and client objectives are met.">
- Client Relationship Management: Thoroughly understand client activities and ensure that any action taken aligns with the company's goals and purpose within the legal and economic framework.">
- Company Management: Manage companies and ensure all information in client files is accurate and up-to-date.">
- Management Agreements: Verify that companies are capitalized and management agreements are available in client files if applicable.">
- Client Database Maintenance: Collaborate closely with managers for maintenance of the client database and ensure it remains updated and accurate at all times. Advise managers on complex requests.">
- Legal Manuals and Procedures: Develop and update legal manuals and procedures and contribute to the development and maintenance of systems.">
- Monthly Reports: Prepare monthly reports for the Management Team. Work on specific projects assigned by the Manager. Offer advice, knowledge, and experience to colleagues as necessary.">
- Additional Tasks: Perform all other tasks related to this position.">
Candidate Profile:
">- A relevant Bachelor's Degree (Law / Economics) or Qualified Company Secretary.">
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in legal and corporate/company management services in a law firm, trust, or company management firm.">
- A strong commercial mindset, taking initiative, being positive and proactive, dedicated, focused, and revenue- and target-driven.">
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.">
- Excellent client-facing skills. Well-developed spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences and successfully interact with people at different levels.">
- Excellent English language fluency, additional languages preferred.">
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented with good decision-making and time management skills.">
- Independent, hands-on, and accountable for delivering solutions and results.">
- The ability to adapt and work in a smaller, dynamic local team environment alongside being part of a larger matrix organization.">
- Proven leadership and team player skills, with ambition to excel in this role.">
