Job Title: AI Governance Specialist

This role plays a critical part in driving the strategic implementation and governance of AI tools, ensuring precision, security, and compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring data privacy controls to prevent sensitive data training and enforce zero-retention policies. They will also deliver comprehensive audit logs and compliance reporting for OpenAI usage, as well as implement robust guardrails and moderation tools to enhance AI application security and reliability.

Additionally, the candidate will track model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership. They will optimize prompt engineering and evaluate trade-offs to maximize efficiency, troubleshoot technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures, and maintain an internal admin guide with setup/configuration steps and best practices.

Furthermore, they will develop knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end users, deliver training sessions for IT staff on managing OpenAI tools, and serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for OpenAI-related incidents.

Collaboration with security, compliance, and engineering teams is essential to expand safe and responsible AI tool use.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
