Job Title: LAN Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled LAN Security Engineer to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot secure enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement firewall security policies on Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto firewalls including physical and virtual appliances.
  • Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets for both security and network performance.
  • Manage and monitor Palo Alto firewalls including security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering.
Switching Management Skills:
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure (Cisco Catalyst 2700/3000/4000/9000 series).
  • Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS, ACLs.
  • Handle advanced L3 routing on switches (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
  • Perform network segmentation, redundancy, and high-availability design.
Collaboration & Documentation:
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure network solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Palo Alto firewalls: security profiles, NAT, VPNs, Panorama management.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Minimum 10-15 years of enterprise network experience, 7+ years in enterprise network security and team management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Certifications preferred: Cisco (CCNA, CCNP Wireless/Enterprise, CWNA), Palo Alto (PCNSA, PCNSE)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field.
  • Knowledge of Network automation (Python, Ansible).
