Spacecraft Electrical Assembly Integration Test Engineer

As a highly skilled engineer, you will lead the integration and testing of spacecraft electrical systems, ensuring end-to-end system readiness for launch. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the validation of complex, highly integrated electronic systems used in space missions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage all test documentation, including test matrices, procedures, scripts, and final reports.
  • Oversee electrical AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) processes in collaboration with Quality Control.
  • Define and prepare Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) requirements.
  • Support and participate in environmental tests at the satellite level, including TVAC, Vibration, Acoustic, EMI/EMC.
  • Manage non-conformance and anomaly investigations, proposing corrective actions.
  • Support pre-launch activities and launch campaigns.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO cleanroom standards.
  • Ensure all activities are completed within defined timelines and resources.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficient with electrical tools and test aids, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and breakout boxes.
  • Strong understanding of electrical signal characterization.
  • Experience working with EGSE and spacecraft connector mating/demating.
  • Capable of writing test procedures, non-conformance reports, and automation scripts.
  • Working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with spacecraft or high-reliability systems.
  • Experience with test script development, preferably in Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with space system standards and launch campaign operations.
  • Demonstrated interdisciplinary and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
