Orbitt Space is building sustainable satellite platforms powered by cutting-edge electric propulsion technology to enable long-duration missions in Ultra Low Earth Orbit (ULEO).We're looking for a Power Electronics R&D Engineer to join our core engineering team. You'll design high-efficiency, high-voltage DC-DC converters and develop the Power Processing Unit (PPU) for our in-house propulsion system — from concept through testing in space-grade conditions.???? What You'll DoDesign, simulate, and test high-voltage (up to 2k V), high-power (1k W+) DC-DC converters for space applicationsLead schematic design, PCB layout (Altium/Cadstar/Allegro), and prototypingImplement thermal and EMI/EMC strategies for robust converter performanceDevelop control systems for digital and analog regulation of power electronicsValidate and qualify systems for extreme environments and space standardsCollaborate across propulsion, embedded systems, and integration teams????
