Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist

Overview:

  • Develop and implement secure cloud solutions to safeguard digital assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure architectures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Security Engineering
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud security policies and procedures.
  • Configure public cloud native security tooling and capabilities, including GCP Organizational policies/constraints, VPC SC, IAM policies, and GCP APIs.
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) 3rd Party tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard, etc.
Architecture and Design
  • Design and implement event-driven serverless-based security controls in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Develop technical architecture documentation.
Operations and Maintenance
  • Deploy and manage cloud security solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs and events.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering.
  • Knowledge of Shared Responsibility Model and security risks inherent in hosting cloud-based applications and data.
  • Experience with Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platform.
  • Strong scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
