Job Title: Data Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and software development, with experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust data pipelines to ingest data from various sources into the data warehouse using tools like Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, DMS, and Glue, is required.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake stored procedures to implement complex business logic and data transformations.
- Manage and monitor scheduled data workflows using Apache Airflow.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement and maintain robust data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of all delivered datasets and reports.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in SQL scripting is essential.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements are must-haves.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project documentation is necessary.
- Familiarity with data quality best practices is highly valued.
