Role Description:

As a software development engineer in test, you will be responsible for developing and executing unit and functional tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products using C# and Python. You will design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust and scalable backend services. Additionally, you will build, optimize, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs using industry-standard tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, automate, and execute unit and functional tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust and scalable backend services.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Deep expertise in C#, including software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proven experience developing, automating, and executing unit and functional tests.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and integration purposes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, or similar for C#; Pytest or others for Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and writing SQL queries.
