Senior QA Automation Engineer

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to own test automation end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using modern tools such as Playwright.

The role requires the ability to write clean and maintainable code, debug complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation frameworks into our CI/CD pipeline. Experience with version control systems, API testing, and performance testing is essential. A solid understanding of system thinking, design patterns, and test-driven development principles is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright
  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize test requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Continuously improve and refine existing processes and tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and testing
  • Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript programming languages
  • Strong understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle
  • Familiarity with modern UI automation tools, including Playwright
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, including GitLab CI and GitHub Actions
