We are seeking a meticulous Software Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to our team and elevate product excellence.

This role requires you to be primarily responsible for testing our products from new feature releases to ongoing enhancements, ensuring they meet digital accessibility standards. You will proactively identify potential failure points through various data models, champion test automation where possible, and act as the ultimate gatekeeper before any feature goes live.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create test design templates and plans and perform hands-on testing with a natural ability to deliver on short timelines
  • Document test cases and track issues in our platform.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, support teams, and other functional members to understand requirements and determine the required scope of testing
  • Work with different groups to identify gaps, prioritize, and resolve issues
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • 3-4 years of experience working and testing software applications
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, ARIA, REST API, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as browser behavior
  • Good understanding of white/black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing.
  • Experience working with trackers such as Jira/Sentry/Redmine/Bugzilla, etc.
  • Ability to quickly find the root cause of open production support tickets
  • Debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes as a subject matter expert
  • Ability to influence the development team to fix backlog bugs by clearly articulating the problem
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of development technologies (Java, JavaScript, REST API, ReactJs, CSS)
  • Experience with test automation of web applications
  • Experience working in an Agile development lifecycle
