Virtualization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Expert to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for administering and managing VMware vSphere environments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in implementing cloud technology solutions using AWS and Azure, as well as utilizing version control systems like Git.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage VMware vSphere environments
  • Implement cloud technology solutions using AWS and Azure
  • Utilize version control systems like Git
  • Configure infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Crossplane
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Operating system administration skills for Windows and Linux
  • vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestrator expertise
  • Scripting language proficiency - Ansible, PowerShell, Azure, and AWS API integration
  • Containerization orchestration skills with Docker and Kubernetes
  • CICD pipeline management using Jenkins and GitLab CI
  • Identity and Access Management skills using AWS IAM and Azure AD
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup Solutions knowledge using Commvault
  • Networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Automation configuration management with Ansible
  • Cloud security best practices including data encryption, security groups, and key management
  • Performance tuning and capacity planning
