Senior Asset Finance Specialist – UK Market Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep expertise in the UK Asset Finance market, specifically across leasing (operational and finance), hire purchase, and stage payment loans.

This role is ideal for individuals who have worked extensively with vehicle and equipment financing and possess a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in the asset finance lifecycle.

The successful candidate will act as a domain specialist for UK Asset Finance, supporting consulting engagements across originations, billing, collections, and settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide business process assurance and collaborate with testing teams to translate functional requirements into IT test scenarios.
  • Lead and support UAT/SIT phases, ensuring alignment with business expectations and terminology.
  • Review and validate test scenarios in collaboration with business SMEs.
  • Support data migration, documentation workstreams, and reporting activities including GL concepts.
  • Serve as a conduit between business and technology teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
  • Leverage tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and other requirements/test management platforms.
  • Provide insights into Asset Finance workflows, including POS, rescheduling, novation, asset handling, stock audits, inspections, and recoveries.
  • Knowledge of Alfa v6 or similar Asset Finance platforms is highly desirable.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4–14+ years of experience in Asset Finance, preferably in the UK market.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle and equipment financing (excluding capital assets like equity).
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end Asset Finance processes.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard terminologies and business workflows.
  • Exposure to testing methodologies, tools, and business-IT collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior consulting experience in BFSI domain.
  • Exposure to Alfa v6 or similar Asset Finance platforms.
  • Experience working with global clients, especially in the UK financial services sector.
