Job Title: Network Security Architect

• The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in network security with a minimum of 5 years working with Fortinet/Cisco Firewalls and IPS.
• A strong proficiency in managing Firewall and NIPS solutions, as well as Windows, Linux, and Unix environments is required.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning and implementing various Firewall & NIPS solutions, integrating with management and authentication tools (email, AD, IAM, SIEM) is necessary.
• Expertise in packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting tools, product knowledge of firewall, NIPS, SSL, Routing Protocols, Dual Factor Authentication, etc. is essential.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for incident, problem, service request management, change management, configuration management & capacity management of Firewall & NIPS Setup.
• Day-to-day BAU configuration changes, proactive use of network monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation occurs are key responsibilities.
• Supporting incident monitoring and incident analysis/response initiatives, coordinating with users for timely and satisfactory resolution of trouble tickets is required.
• Troubleshooting layers 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI Model, applying security patches as required is necessary.
• Conducting daily performance checks on devices, periodic audits, and compliance is a must.
• Performing immediate troubleshooting for any and all network outages reported by users, sensors, and/or operational personnel is a key responsibility.
• Implementing and maintaining network security policy, standards, and procedures, deploying and maintaining access-list and firewall policies is essential.
• Maintaining service levels, oversight of day-to-day configuration, administration, and monitoring of the network security infrastructure in a 24/7 environment is required.
• Coordinating with OEMs for TAC support, RMA, replacement, and reconfiguration of faulty Firewalls/NIPS is necessary.
• Creating technical documentation, as-built network diagrams, inventory control documentation, and security documentation is a must.
• Investigating, isolating, and resolving firewall & NIPS incidents with RCA, coordinating helpdesk teams, other IT support teams, application support teams to jointly troubleshoot and fix high-priority/severity incidents is required.
• Designing and implementing firewall, Site-to-Site VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions for DC/DR/Cloud and Branch office environments is a key responsibility.
• Creating and updating knowledgebase in ITSM tools, identifying areas for automation of operational efficiency is necessary.
• Working to automate and integrate tools with REST API/SDK with security dashboard, Infosec tools (AD, IDAM, PAM, SIEM, SOAR, etc.) is required.
• Patch updates, upgradation of Firewalls & NIPS as per compliance and audit requirements, closure of compliance and audits points as per agreed timelines is essential.

• Strong understanding of network security concepts and technologies.
• Experience with Fortinet/Cisco Firewalls and IPS.
• Proficiency in managing Firewall and NIPS solutions.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications in network security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
