Senior SAP Profitability and Performance Management Specialist

Overview

SAP PAPM consultants design, configure, test, and implement SAP Profitability and Performance Management solutions based on client requirements.

This includes translating functional requirements from business users into technical specifications for SAP PaPM, as well as designing and developing SAP PaPM models, including functions, cost, and revenue allocation processes, and other components.

The role also involves integrating SAP PaPM with other SAP systems and external sources, such as data replication methods like SLT and SDA.

Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration.

A strong understanding of financial planning, profitability analysis, and performance management is essential, along with hands-on experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and SAP BW integration.

Knowledge of SAP ABAP can be helpful for customizing and extending PaPM functionality, as well as understanding business processes and financial modeling for effective solution design.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop SAP PaPM models, including functions, cost, and revenue allocation processes
  • Translate functional requirements from business users into technical specifications for SAP PaPM
  • Configure, test, and implement SAP PaPM solutions based on client requirements
  • Integrate SAP PaPM with other SAP systems and external sources, such as data replication methods like SLT and SDA
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration

Key qualifications include 6-10 years of experience in SAP solutions, with at least 2 years in SAP PaPM, and a strong understanding of financial planning, profitability analysis, and performance management.

Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and SAP BW integration is essential, as well as knowledge of SAP ABAP for customizing and extending PaPM functionality.

Understanding business processes and financial modeling is also important for effective solution design.
