Specifications Manager

This is a senior-level role that involves developing and executing strategies to promote the company's products to architects, builders, and project managers.

  • The incumbent should have 10+ years of experience in marketing & specification of the products to architects, builders, and PMC's working in different business verticals such as door & hardware, UPVC doors, elevators, architectural glass, specialty products, or building material which requires hard selling concepts.
  • They should be able to identify new markets for the company's products in addition to developing existing ones by defining and exploring new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting architects and consultants to get the product make and technical specification included in the tender document.
  • Organizing events at the experience center with PMC/Architects – For Positive Engagement.
  • Follow up on project leads in identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Presents design proposals to clients, consultants, and owners for business opportunities.
  • Maintains direct relationships with key customers, consultants, owners, and decision-makers.
  • Develops market potential of the company, together with Regional Heads in line with the business plan and follows up with them on the action taken for the business identified.
  • Follows up on-going project sites.
  • Submits offers, follows up, and closes orders.
  • Promotes new products and services of various divisions, balances the ROI on products.
  • Plans tasks, maintains reports, conducts weekly reviews on work assigned, and helps sales in closing orders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in specifications from any building materials industry.
