Job Title:

Junior Accountant

About the Role:

Akiva Business Advisors specializes in financial advisory and global accounting bookkeeping services.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and assist with audits.

The successful candidate will perform daily tasks including data entry, verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The Junior Accountant will work closely with senior accountants to perform regular financial analysis and support budget preparation and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements.
  • Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Perform data entry and verify accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents.
  • Work collaboratively with senior accountants to perform financial analysis and support budget preparation and forecasting activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and standard auditing procedures.
