Scientific Manuscript Review Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our scientific manuscript review process for a globally recognized journal.

This role will lead and manage the Review and Peer Review Teams, ensuring rigorous scientific and editorial standards while driving efficiency and innovation.

  1. Lead and manage the Review and Peer Review Teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  2. Oversee the complete manuscript review workflow from submission to publication.
  3. Identify inefficiencies and process bottlenecks; implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput and reduce timelines.
  4. Maintain the highest standards of scientific rigor, editorial excellence, and ethical publishing practices.

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. in life sciences.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or scientific publishing with proven expertise in peer review and editorial workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing editorial or review teams.
  • Strong knowledge of peer review models, open access publishing, and evolving trends in scholarly communication.
