Medical Communications Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Medical Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our medical communications team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality scientific and educational materials that support the needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical research and medical communication, with 7-10 years of experience in writing and reviewing scientific/medical communications for medical affairs or biopharma. They will also have excellent attention to detail, strong language skills, and the ability to interpret and present scientific data clearly and concisely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop scientific and educational materials, including reports, presentations, and other content that supports client needs
  • Review and supervise deliverables from junior writers, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Mentor and train junior writers, sharing best practices and client preferences
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, communicating effectively and providing exceptional service
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology; MPharm/MSc with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication
  • 7-10 years of experience in writing and reviewing scientific/medical communications for medical affairs or biopharma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent language skills and the ability to interpret and present scientific data clearly and concisely
