Corporate Attorney Role

We are seeking an experienced corporate attorney with a strong background in IT services and consulting to provide strategic legal guidance on commercial, corporate, and contractual matters.

This includes ensuring compliance and supporting business operations with risk-mitigated solutions.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, master service agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor agreements to ensure compliance and protect the company's interests.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory matters to support business operations.
  • Support business teams in client negotiations and enable smooth deal closures by providing informed legal guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, IT laws, and international regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Manage legal risks and proactively advise leadership to mitigate potential issues.
  • Liaise with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution to protect the company's interests.
  • Develop policies, processes, and compliance frameworks for global operations to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Conduct internal training sessions on compliance and legal best practices to educate employees and promote a culture of compliance.

Requirements

  • Possess a degree in law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
  • Have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation is essential.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws is necessary.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a mid-to-large IT services/consulting company would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues would be beneficial.
  • Membership in a Bar Council / Corporate Legal Association is a plus.
