Aircraft Technical Writing Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Aircraft Technical Writer with a strong background in Airbus manuals and hands-on experience with aircraft such as A320, A330, A350, and A380.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of procedures and documentation standards, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

This role requires producing high-quality technical documentation to support aircraft maintenance, operations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality technical documentation for aircraft maintenance, operations, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation standards for Airbus manuals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in documentation
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for document management and control
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in technical writing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, Technical Writing, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Technical Writer
  • Proven experience working with Airbus manuals and familiarity with Airbus documentation standards
  • Proficiency in using authoring tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures, particularly on Airbus aircraft models (A320, A330, A350, A380)
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards, such as ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D, is preferred
