About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will have extensive experience in physical design, full-chip timing, and high-performance designs.
  • They will also have strong skills in areas such as timing analysis, timing convergence, SI/Noise analysis, signoff quality, and timing ECOs.
  • Additionally, they should have experience in automated synthesis and timing-driven place and route of RTL blocks for high-speed datapath and control logic applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering the physical design of tiles and full-chip to meet challenging goals for frequency, power, and other design requirements.
  • Performing timing analysis, timing convergence, SI/Noise analysis, and signoff quality checks.
  • Implementing opportunities for improving PPA (Power, Performance, and Area).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design convergence and quality.
Requirements:
  • 16+ years of professional experience in physical design and full-chip timing.
  • Strong experience with tools for logic synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and design checks.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl and Tcl.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teams.
