About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the architecture and design of platform services to support application development and deployment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and reliability in platform operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the architecture and design of platform services to support application development and deployment.
  • Implementing automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Monitoring system performance, making recommendations for improvements, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of platform architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and services, including load balancing, DNS, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
