The role of an Executive Accountant will be to provide independent assurance that Level 1 controls are properly executed and that Group, CIB and local accounting control policies are implemented appropriately.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of ₹2.5 million per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in our organization.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role include reviewing the performance of 2nd level accounting controls on a list of key areas defined by the BNP Paribas Standard Accounting Control Group Plan.

You will identify system / control deficiencies and propose solution to improve the accounting control environment.

Additionally, you will ensure adequate review of Accounting Control Repository Database is updated with the changes in accounts, controls and ownership.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Chartered accountant or Accounting degree with relevant work experience ~ 10 years
  • Banking and/or IFRS knowledge
  • Strong PC skill: advance Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of MS Access and data extraction (e.g. Business Objects)
  • Former audit experience or experiences on the accounting controls within a Finance function in Banking and Financial Services
