About the Job

The role involves leading technical projects in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with senior leadership to set strategic direction, and working cross-functionally with various stakeholders. As an engineering manager, you will actively contribute to code, participate in code reviews, make architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers.

You will collaborate closely with engineers to design and develop scalable solutions, motivate team members, provide coaching, and maintain an inclusive team culture focused on autonomy, ownership, collaboration, communication, and impact.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in managing engineering teams within a Java environment
  • 7+ years of experience in software development industry in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Additionally, you should be able to define, implement, and monitor performance KPIs, quickly identify opportunities for improvement in existing systems, and clearly communicate about technical concepts to non-engineers.
